Golden Ring
The Golden ring is a tourist route that passes through the ancient cities of North-Eastern Russia, which preserved unique monuments of history and culture of Russia, centers of folk crafts.
Duration: 8 days/7 nights

Inclusions: hotel accommodation 3* - 4* , meals - breakfast at the hotel, except of the day of arrival, transfers as per the program, guided tours as per the program with an English-speaking guide, entrance tickets to museums and sightseeing sites.

Day 1
Welcome to Moscow
Meeting the guide at the airport and going to the comfortable hotel. Leisure time.
DAY 2
Moscow from its most beautiful side
Moscow city tour where you will see the Bolshoy Theatre, The Kremlin from the outside, Christ the Savior Cathedral, The Novodevichii Convent, The MGU Stalinist-style gothic skyscraper, The Sparrow Hills, Worshipfull Submission Hill and other places of interest. The Kremlin walking tour: The Moscow Kremlin is the heart of Russian state. It is the place where on the one hand the executive powers of Russian Federation are located and on the other hand the most prominent Russian treasures are kept. Lunch. Walking tour to the Underground which is often called the underground palace of Moscow. Visiting Arbat street - the most legendary tourist walking street in the Capital.
DAY 3
Vladimir and Bogolyubovo
Checkout from the hotel.
Transfer to Vladimir (Journey may take from 3 to 4 hours in bus or alternatively – train to Vladimir).

Sightseeing tour Vladimir – a unique center of ancient Russian culture. Visiting Uspenskii and Dmitrievskii Cathedrals, Golden Gates, Museum of Crystal and miniature lacquer painting, Bogolyubskii Convent, and Church Pokrova-Na-Nerli, UNESCO heritage.

Transfer to Suzdal.
Overnight.
DAY 4
Suzdal
Visiting the Kremlin and The Christ chamber, Museum of Wooden Art of Building. Spaso-Efimiev Convent where you will learn about the architecture and bell-ringing styles. Unique tour to icon painting center where painters create or restore icons. You can see how they live, where they work, what paints they use and their works. One of the painter will be your guide during this tour.

Return to hotel.
DAY 5
Kostroma
Transfer to Kostroma, road may take around 3 hours.
Sightseeing tour around Kostroma where you will enjoy the architecture of the ancient town and fan style of Catherine the Great, visiting Bogoyavlenskii Convent where you'll witness the miraculous Icon of Fedorovskaya Virgin Mother and go on the tour to Ipatievskii Convent from where the existence of the Romanovs Tsars dynasty began.

Transfer to Yaroslavl for overnight.
DAY 6
Yaroslav
Sightseeing city tour Review on churches, visiting Spaso-Preobrazhenskii Convent of the 12th century, private museum "Time and Music", walking along the Volga River embankment to the arrow place. River tour in traditional boat style along Volga river to Tolga Monastery.
DAY 7
Rostov the Great, Pereslavl Zalesskii and Sergiev Posad
Visiting the Rostov Kremlin. Unique church bell master-class.
Transfer to the town of Pereslavl Zalesskii. Downtown sightseeing tour, visiting the Red Square, Spaso-Preobrazhenskii Cathedral and one of the town's numerous convents.

The Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, the heart of Russian orthodox religion. Here you will capture the most splendid interiors of the three Cathedrals, learn about traditions of the ancient Russian architecture and the stages of its development, and you will see the ceremony of coming up and kissing the bones of the Russian Saint Sergii Radonezhskii.

Return to Moscow.
